About Ed Johnson

Ed Johnson - Entrepreneur
Named as one of Forbes 30 under 30 for 2022 in Social Impact, Ed Johnson has a background in tech startups, digital marketing and online business growth. Having taught himself web development and digital marketing from the age of 9, Ed dropped out of school at 17 to join digital marketing agency Ad Dynamo. Since then, Ed has held positions at Oracle, Zoopla and more recently as Head of Digital for Dragon's Den success ValueMyStuff.

Ed founded the Omyx Club in 2016, secuing investment to grow the virtual and events-based community. In 2017, Ed co-founded experimental B2C app Tempry, with it reaching the top 100 apps in the Apple App store within 48-hours from launch, having done so with £10k in seed investment.

In 2018, Ed co-founded the world-leading mentoring company, PushFar, which was subsequently recognised as one of the UK's top startups. The platform is widely acknowledged as best-in-class software and is now used by hundreds of companies. By the end of 2022, PushFar had enabled more than 1.5 million hours of mentoring to take place. In July 2023, PushFar was acquired by London-based private equity firm ScaleUp Capital.

Ed holds his current position as CEO of PushFar, working with leading HR and learning teams, while mentoring startup entrepreneurs and speaking publicly about mentoring, coaching, entrepreneurship and online business growth. Ed’s appearances include the BBC, Forbes, Telegraph, The Sun, The Mirror, Yahoo News, Metro and Huffington Post.
